SYNDICATES

BANK URALSIB
URALSIB is a frequent borrower at the international syndicated loans market. The syndicated loans are trade-related and generally have a maturity of 1-2 years. The lenders’ base is diversified by countries and regions; regional diversification has expanded significantly during the past few years. At present Asian banks, mainly from such dynamically developing regions as Gulf States and Taiwan, are among the Bank’s lenders along with European and American banks. The secondary market has also developed, and the loans are actively traded.
URALSIB started raising syndicated loans in 1997, and successfully repaid outstanding facilities passing over the 1998 crisis. Business was resumed in 2001, and up to now the Bank has succeeded in raising 19 loans.
